Go though Aberarth and as you leave, take the right turn clearly signed for the B4577 Tregaron/Cross Inn road. Stay on this road for approx 6km, proceeding through Pennant and onto Cross Inn. At x-roads turn right in Cross Inn onto the B4337 towards Talsarn. Proceed for approx 1km over a small bridge and you will see a sign for a no through road on your left, you need to take this left turn (before you get to a second hump-back bridge). Stay on this lane for approx 1 mile passing two bungalows, It then turns into a stone track, you will go past a property called Gorsdalfa on your left and Tancastell is the last property on the right accessed via a galvanised entrance gate.
