The cottage is in keeping with it's period past: quality furnishings and a home from home feel. A peaceful quiet area only 10 minutes walk into harbour & centre of Torquay, South Devon. The nearest beach with cafes and hotels is Meadfoot Beach which is Blue Flagged, a 5 minutes walk.
The cottage has been a second home/ holiday cottage since purchased by the current vendor in 2005. In the last year (pre COVID) we are advised that the income from short term lets and holiday lets was in the region of £25,000.

The front bedroom is very big and has two large sash windows so vendor advises this could easily be converted to a three bedroom cottage as all of the other cottages in the row have done already.

We are advised by the vendor that an opportunity may exist to buy out this half with the title of the rear garden and add this area and outhouse so that the whole area is owned by this cottage. This would be a separate transaction. Other cottages in the row have converted their outhouse to separate studios, artist rooms, or separate apartments / bedrooms some with with kitchens and bathrooms as well.
