What do you love most about your home?
One of the things we are going to struggle to replicate is the great size bedrooms. We love that we have a utility room and a considerable amount of storage space. It is in a great location. It is only a few minutes walk from the common, the river and two great shopping streets with cafes, restaurants and wonderful bars as well as being within 10 minutes walk of 2 train stations. Despite being so close to everything our road is remarkably quiet and green with no through traffic and plenty of parking, we also benefit from our own parking bay which is super handy. Our neighbours are great and very reliable, kind and supportive. We have never had any issues in our 17 years here.

Why are you moving?
With 2 growing children we would like more space. We always intended to move out and in fact have delayed this move by 8 years as the house and area has been so 'sticky' for us. However with ailing grandparents we do need more space and to be a bit closer to them so we can entertain and host them rather than the other way round.

What do you love about the area?
We do love our location. The area has a very urban village feel. It is a good community and you will make lots of friends here. The location is perfect for socialising, relaxing, commuting and getting around London. We are on the doorstep of 2 great small shopping streets of St John's Hill and Old York Road, in non covid times they hold regular street fairs . They both have great eateries and places to drink. We are also within 10 minutes walks to Southside shopping centre or in other direction to Northcote Road. Only a 4 minutes walk from Wandsworth Common and lots of play areas. 4 minutes walk from a very nice section of the River. 10 minutes walks to clapham junction. 3 minutes walk from Wandsworth Town station. 2 minutes walk from a bus stop with very regular buses that can take you to clapham junction or into London. Close to great local schools. Good community with a real village atmosphere. We have been here 17 years and never intended to stay so long, however it is a great place to live and will really miss the area.
