A door to the front of the property opens into a well-proportioned reception hall, which incorporates the staircase to the first floor accommodation, a storage cupboard beneath, a superb polished concrete floor (continued throughout the ground floor) and access into the immediate rooms. To one side of the hall, there is a living room at the front of the house, currently used as a home office. Adjoining, there is a useful utility room with sink and external door to the rear, plus a door into a downstairs WC. Across the hall, partly glazed double doors opened into a spacious dual-aspect kitchen/dining room. Fitted with a range of matching floor and wall units in a contemporary style, the kitchen includes granite work surfaces plus an integrated fridge, freezer, double oven with microwave, dishwasher and an induction hob. A further set of double doors then open through to the sitting room, which is also a very generous size, is dual-aspect and is fitted with a wood burning stove and sliding patio doors to the front. The heating in the property is served by an Air Source Heat Pump, with the ground floor benefiting from underfloor heating throughout (the first floor has radiators). In addition, the property has been installed with a 'Vent Axia' Mechanical Ventilation and Heat Recovery system (MVHR); a continuous source of ventilation which extracts stale, moisture-laden air from the property and replaces with fresh, filtered air - particularly useful in the kitchen, bathroom and en-suite shower rooms and eliminating the build up of mould and condensation.
On the first floor, a central landing with window to the rear has two fitted cupboards, one of which housing the MVHR system. There are four bedrooms, all of which are doubles and are fitted with large wardrobes. The Master bedroom is located above the sitting room, with sliding doors to the front and Juliet balcony making the most of the wonderful far-reaching southerly views across to the Tor and beyond. In addition, well-appointed en-suite shower rooms adjoin both the Master bedroom and the second largest bedroom. Completing the accommodation on the first floor is the family bathroom, which has a white suite comprising a low level WC, a vanity wash hand basin, a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
OUTSIDE The property is approached initially via a shared driveway (with one neighbouring property) and double gates then give access to a private drive providing parking for several vehicles. There is a detached double garage measuring 17' x 17' which has an electric door, light, power, and a window and door to the side. The gardens surround the house, are enclosed to all sides and are predominantly laid to lawn with a patio seating area in front of the sitting room. Much like the house, the garden enjoys the views and offers plenty of space for outdoor entertaining.
