Property description

Tenure: Leasehold

A smartly appointed two bedroom apartment, sat on the first floor of a modest, contemporary development just five minutes from our exciting new neighbourhood of Wood Street. Sleek and handsome inside and out, this is a splendid find.

You're enviable Upper Walthamstow location also puts Lloyd Park well within reach. These landscaped gardens and open green spaces are just a half mile on foot, perfect for morning jogs and evening strolls.

IF YOU LIVED HERE…

You'll be relaxing of an evening on your 115 square foot balcony, private and sheltered it's the ideal spot for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Step inside for your strikingly spacious, 300 square feet kitchen/lounge. Rich blonde hardwood runs underfoot from the large window set to the front to the neatly arranged corner of cream cabinets and integrated appliances at the rear.

Elsewhere, both bedrooms are substantial doubles of around 150 square feet apiece, illuminated by floor to ceiling windows looking over the balcony and plushly carpeted wall to wall. Recessed spotlights sit overhead and chrome fittings complete the look. Finally, your bathroom's a stylish, gleaming affair, fully tiled around the shower over the tub and with an oversized mirror running from sink to ceiling.

Outside and Wood Street starts just a third of a mile on foot from your development, for an ever evolving range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants - try the mouth watering burgers at The Duke or the tempting Turkish treats at Teras. There's even a thriving indoor vintage market, great for picking up unique pieces for your new home. Wood Street station is around five minutes further down and will get you straight to Liverpool Street in twenty.

WHAT ELSE?

- Just a half mile away on foot, The Dog & Duck is well worth a visit. It's a lovably esoteric, family friendly gastropub with beach huts in the beer garden.
- You have private residents parking and drivers can be on the North Circular in five minutes. There's also a large utility closet in the hallway.
- Heading to the West End? Walthamstow Central is just one stop up from Wood Street for a quick hop to the Victoria line.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER...
"The flat was my first home alone. I loved every moment of living there. The neighbours are lovely, the neighbourhood is great. On weekends, if I wasn’t seeing friends, I would walk over to Wildcard brewery and enjoy a beer while reading a book. Some weekends, I would walk up Fulbourne Rd to the Galley cafe for a very affordable but yummy full English.
Getting to work at offices on Regent Street and Russell Square was really easy. Most days I would walk to the tube, but when it rained, I hopped on the 212 from right outside, which took me to the station. Wood Street overground was also a short walk and a great connection to Liverpool St. Again, if it rained, the 46 (I think) bus went from the same stop right outside. Considering the flat is on a busy road, I found the actual flat to be pretty quiet inside. I never had a problem sleeping.
The flat itself was the perfect size. I had friends to stay over regularly in the spare room. The utility area is such a bonus and a fab place to hide all my shoes and rubbish! I honestly loved living in that flat. When I flew to Canada, aside from family and friends, the main thing I have missed is my home! I am sure my tenants have taken great care of it and hope that the next owner loves it just as much as I did."
