Tetcott Road is part of Chelsea Riverside area and is one of the most up and coming areas in London to be enhanced by the completion of the Chelsea Waterfront development less than 500m from the house in 2022. The Chelsea Academy school is a top performing high school and sixth form college at the Southern end of Tetcott Road. The teachers and security personal always escort and supervise pupils to and from the busses on Kings road. This prevents the students from loitering in the area or park before or after school. There is little evidence or inconvenience of the school and the extra security in the area is a positive factor for a family with children. At night Westfield Park is closed to the public and although it is surrounded by gastro pubs and entertainment clubs Tetcott Road is extremely quiet. The closed park and abundance of trees gives a feeling of being at one with nature.

Transport links are first class with the River Thames water taxi, Imperial Wharf over ground rail and Fulham Broadway Tube stations. The Kings Road and Fulham Road bus services are within walking distance. There are four major supermarkets, medical centre and Worlds End Clinic , Chelsea & Westminster Hospital all within walking distance. The new entertainment and shopping mall in the Chelsea Waterfront (formerly Lots road power station) development is due to be completed in 2022.

The river Thames is nearby and provides long leisurely river side walks or bike rides into the centre of London or out west to Fulham, Wandsworth and Putney. There is an abundance of interesting shopping, eating and entertainment venues within walking distance such as Chelsea harbour, Imperial Wharf including the restaurants, clubs and pubs of Kings Road.
