There is also the movie theatre, and "theatre barn", an old barn that was converted by actor and director Ernst Busch into a wonderful theatre of art.

The city sports a great big pool "Volksbad Neugersdorf". This 5000SQM pool with slide, sunbathing lawn (Yes, German summers are lovely and warm) and children's playground. Relax and eat at the adjoining pavilion restaurant. A day ticket to the pool is only 3 Euros and the pool is open May to September.
