Location

Located in the heart of the pretty and sought after village of Hannington with views over the village green and within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is also within the village conservation area. The village is a very popular stop for cyclists and walkers taking advantage of the many footpaths and bridle paths that flow through the spectacular surrounding countryside.

The village has a pretty historic church, All Saints, which in parts dates back to the 11th century and there are many other pretty listed buildings in the village. There is also a well renowned village public house – The Vine as well as a village hall and a sports field.

Newbury and Basingstoke provide an extensive range of shopping, recreational and educational facilities. Communication links are excellent, being within easy reach of the M3 (J6), M4 (J13) and the A34, which provides access to the national motorway network. Commuting by train can be either from Basingstoke or Overton stations to Waterloo, or Newbury to Paddington.
