'We've owned the property since 2004 and loved raising our family in such a lovely village home, it's a cosy cottage that enjoys a high level of privacy while also being in a central village location. The garden is great and was a huge reason for us buying it - it's a good size, very private and tranquil, a suntrap, and will suit somebody who loves to spend time outside either relaxing or gardening.'
This is a great cottage set in the ever popular village of Barripper. Set off the road and accessed via a small cobbled pathway, servicing this and the other two properties in the terrace, a gateway opens to the pretty gardens, all located to the front of the property.
Set within the plot is a detached building, currently utilised as a home office, which overlooks the gardens yet offers further possibilities.
A pathway leads to the front door accessing the lounge and continues to a side entrance more commonly used, leading into an entrance hall. Access from here to a room currently utilised as an occasional bedroom, where again there are possibilities due to it backing onto the outside garden store, the owners considered making an ensuite guest room.
The kitchen diner is a good sized room, windows to the rear aspect and offering a good range of storage and work surfaces with a door to the sitting room. A great family room.
A traditional Cornish cottage room with exposed stonework, window and the aforementioned stable door overlooking the gardens. A feature fireplace to one end with an electric stove which could have a wood burning stove reinstated. Open tread stairs rise to the first floor.
There are three bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, two double rooms and a single. The main room is front facing whilst the other two overlook the adjoining fields, the two doubles have built in storage.
The bathroom is a white suite with a shower over the bath and a front facing frosted window.
The gardens are a mix of paved patio, raised flower beds and lawn with a fence enclosing the grass, pathways lead to the outside office and along the side where there is the store, the natural boundary abuts the fields with tree and shrub borders.
14'6 x 7'6 Mains power connected, stable access door and window overlooking the gardens.
