The house is a modern stone-built property constructed in around 1980 for the current owners, to their own specification, by a well-regarded local firm of builders. The masons carved a number of faces into the stonework both by the front door and by the back door from the garage, historically believed to keep bad luck away.
The property faces to the rear, its southerly aspect, with a long sloping roof at the front which conceals its scale, but incorporates a good-sized garage which is currently used as a workshop and store, the original door having been replaced by a part glazed wooden screen.

Across the hallway there is a ground floor shower room with a modern white suite comprising a quadrant shower cubicle, WC and corner wash hand basin. The shower room is fully tiled and has a small window to the front as well as an interconnecting door through to the integral garage workshop meaning the cloakroom can be accessed from the garden without entering the house.
Off the hallway there is an open doorway to a laundry recess which houses the automatic washing machine and has a shelf for a second appliance above. There is also a useful shelved storage cupboard.
The stairs, with storage cupboard beneath, rise from the entrance hallway to a galleried landing with a window to the west, a hatch to an eaves storage space, a large airing cupboard and doors to the house bathroom and main bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is a double room with a built-in wardrobe and cupboards, having a dual aspect to the south and west. Bedroom 2 is also a double room with a window to the south and built-in wardrobe.
The house bathroom has a modern White suite with a panel bath, basin and WC. There is underfloor heating and a window to the side plus a second door into the airing cupboard.
To the front of the property is a concrete driveway providing off street parking and leading down to the original garage door. There is also a pretty garden at the front with a lawn and borders bounded by a stone wall.
A path leads down the side of the house to a gate into the rear garden which has a pond and a substantial wooden garden room (15'3 x 7'4 internal) in the style of a log cabin with insulation, light and power. The well-stocked back garden has a concreted patio are with sliding doors from the lounge and a small yard to the rear of the garage where there is another door. Something of a sun-trap, the gardens are planted with shrubs and flowers and include a small pond and a rockery.
