This could be your perfect little holiday cottage in the Cotswolds, set in a beautiful position overlooking lake 5a of Isis Lake. The secure gated development of Isis and Windrush Lakes is located on the outskirts of the Cotswold village of South Cerney in the heart of the Cotswold Waterpark and a 10-15 min drive from the historic market town of Cirencester.

After you have passed through the barrier at the 24 hour security lodge you will find a parking area and then a level path over to the lodge. There are steps up to the front door and a covered storm porch sheltering the front door. First, you will find an entrance hall with space to hang your coats and pop your shoes down as well as a downstairs WC and shower room, perfect to hang up your wet suit if you have been out on the surrounding lakes.

From here you will arrive at the open plan lounge and dining area with the fabulous views from the French doors across the lake with the fountain - a popular feature amongst children late in the day when the sun creates a magical rainbow. The living space is comfortable for a couple of sofas or perhaps an L-shape one with room for a tv & media unit. There is also space for a dining table seating anywhere from 4-8 people depending on your desires. Stairs to the first floor provide a useful understairs storage cupboard. To the front, you will find the galley kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, washer dryer and a window to the front.

Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a lovely vaulted ceiling and a large picture frame window taking in the lake view. It has space large enough to accommodate a king size or super kingsize bed and freestanding furniture. The guest bathroom has a shower cubicle, WC, basin, towel rail and a skylight. Bedroom two will fit a double bed and freestanding furniture whilst bedroom three commonly has bunk beds or two single beds for guests.

Outside, a sun terrace leads from the French doors in the living room providing a perfect spot for sundowners and summer BBQ's. Steps down from here lead to the lawn areas surrounding the lake.

Facilities at the resort are plentiful including three tennis courts (one floodlit), two fishing lakes, children's play areas

Within walking distance, there are three pubs in the village of South Cerney along with an Indian restaurant, fish & chip shop, Co-Op, Onestop, post office & deli, pharmacy, hairdresser and a doctor's surgery. Across the other side of the Spine road is the Devere Hotel & Spa, The Old Boathouse pub, 720 Pizzeria, Gateway Cafe and a lakeside bar.

Travel connections to London are a breeze with direct trains to Paddington from Kemble (78 mins) 4 miles away or Swindon (58 mins) 12.5 miles away. The A419 gives access to the M4 Jct 15 (16 miles) with easy access to the M5 whilst Cirencester is only 4 miles and Cheltenham 20 miles away.
