From Inverurie head north onto the A96 and continue for 5.8 miles taking a slight left (Insch 5) at Oyne Fork. Continue on the B9002 for a further 2.4 miles and Rettie Croft is found on the left. The exact location can be seen on the OS extract plan.

Situation
Rettie Croft is situated between the village of Oyne where primary education is provided and the village of Insch which has a good range of local amenities including two grocery stores, independent retailers, restaurants, nursery, leisure centre and a railway station providing transport links on the busy Aberdeen to Inverness line.

Insch has a challenging 18 hole golf course and for keen hill walkers the Bennachie range and Hill of Dunnydeer are found in the immediate vicinity while the Cairngorms National Park is found within easy driving distance.
