Description
Vendors Views - When we first started looking to move from Kent in 2004 and discovered the plotlands, we were captivated by the feeling of tranquillity that is immediately felt as you turn up the private road. No more parking issues or noisy traffic, instead, relaxing in the garden and listening to the sound of birds. The little Burstead village has an active village Hall committee arranging events throughout the year in addition to a friendly Pub with good food. Nearby Billericay is a beautiful little town with a large selection of bars and restaurants in addition to many boutique shops. In the opposite direction you have Basildon with it’s many merchants and outlets including the Festival Leisure centre. Nearly all the major outlets and supermarkets are reachable within a short drive
We always believed that this would be our final property as we moved into our retirement years and set about modernising to the way we wanted to live. After a number of years improving and tweaking the property, we decided on a near total rebuild in 2010/11 resulting in the layout we have now.
