A rare opportunity of a commercial vehicle charging site, located to the rear of the new Starbucks / car charging station on the A5.

This site will be directly wired to renewable energy from the onsite wind turbine. There is a back up grid connection in place, should the turbine go under maintenance etc. The turbine itself is a 4.1MW machine, and is the most powerful in England.

There are currently 4 x Kempower single satellite units, ready to use. These are ultra rapid chargers (charging at speeds of 50kW- 150kW, depending on battery type).

The compound has permission for a welfare building to be constructed/installed. The dimensions approved in the planning consent were L 8.33m x H 3.11m x D 4.50m.

The compound has 7 extra large / long bays (12.00m x 3.50m), 4 of which currently have chargers on them ready for use. There is also a commercial vehicle wash area. The compound also has 8 standard parking bays (4.80m x 2.40m).

The compound is completely enclosed by a 2.4m green welded mesh fencing (security type), with lockable gates for both entry and exit. Entry to the wider bus compound area is via a timber gate (lockable).

There is full CCTV on site, and the compound / chargers are accessible 24 hours a day.
