Sun Valley is located in the Esentepe region. From the apartment you have a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the forest. Nearby you will find several beaches and a lovely area for walking. Sun Valley is located next to Korineum Golf & Beach Resort, an 18-hole golf course of international standard. Within 25 minutes by car you will find the charming town of Kyrenia (Girne). several water parks, and restaurants in all categories.

Kyrenia is the famous historical harbour town, combining the traditional ruins and old protected buildings with the modern retail developments and high rise residential blocks. All the trappings of life can be found here, from dance clubs and lounge bars, to shopping and salons, schools, gyms and everything touristic. From a rental perspective, long term rentals are in high demand due to the number of students and workers in the town. Holiday rentals also in demand due to the facilities all within walking distance, but it can be a little busy for those who want a relaxing holiday.

On the edge of the town as you exit in an easterly direction, there is Karakum - a lively extension of the town, with plenty of eateries and shops, and then Ozankoy and Bellapais. Both with old traditional village centres giving way to modernised retail areas as you leave. Following after Ozankoy, is Catalkoy. A large village with old traditional centre and expanded region with retail and trade stores and hotel and casinos.

The east Kyrenia region is favoured by affluent locals and foreigners and offers elevated terrain for great views, proximity to the town and retail opportunities. A few hotels with casinos and beach clubs are easily accessible also for tourists in these areas.

Further east in the Esentepe region, the scenic combination of the mountain range and coastline, puts the focus on more green spaces and elevated views. There are many open areas and rambling routes towards the mountains for walking and being as one with nature.

Kucukerenkoy boasts a beautiful coastline and natural bay with rock formations, making this village with the mountain backdrop a picturesque setting for many new up-market complexes. Developing main road plazas mean this will become a self-sufficient mini-town for residents and tourists in the immediate future.

Tatlisu is officially in the Famagusta region, but sits at the end of the Esentepe region coastline. Open green spaces, agricultural areas are now being developed into beautiful residential and holiday sites. The beaches and rugged coastline here is breath-taking and enjoys a relaxed pace of life.

Beaches and beach clubs can still be found, with bars and restaurants for locals and tourists, with less traffic (than the west side) and the feeling of a calmer pace of living.
Development here is limited to 2 storey residential and the many new residential/tourism complexes all bring something new to the region, with spas, gyms, restaurants and bars within the centre of each.
