LOCATION

Roxwell is always a sought after area for those looking to enjoy village life, whilst not being to far away from a main town or city. The village itself has a primary school and is within reach of a few pub/restaurants, whilst more can be found in Writtle just a couple of miles down the road, and Chelmsford city centre with its mainline station is around 4 miles away. Head in the other direction and Great Dunmow is around 13 miles away, and Bishops Stortford or Harlow are around 16 miles away, from either of which you can pick up the M11.

OVERVIEW OF ACCOMMODATION

The property has an Entrance Hall, useful for shoes and coats, which leads into the front facing Lounge. The Lounge has a wealth of exposed beams, woodburner with brick surround and steps up into an Inner Hall from where you can access the Kitchen, Rear Garden or find the stairs up to the first floor. The Kitchen has windows looking out to the rear and is fitted with a range of matching wall and base units with worktops over. From the Kitchen there are stairs down to the basement which has a radiator, skylight and a pump for the Artesian Well which runs beneath this room.

As you climb the stairs up the landing splits off, with one part leading to the front facing double Bedroom and Bathroom which has a three piece suite. A couple more steps take you to the rear facing double Bedroom which has fitted wardrobes and a Shower Room meaning that each Bedroom effectively has its own Bathroom.

Outside, the Rear Garden is deceptively long. A cobbled seating area is to the immediate rear of the house, with the remainder being laid to lawn with a variety of plants and bushes with a rear gate that will lead you to the block of three garages to the side of the property, one of which belongs to the house. The Rear Garden backs onto fields and you have nothing but green views for miles.

Parking is available by the previously mentioned garage in a block of three to the side of the house, and the current owner parks a car in front of the garage.

AGENTS NOTE

Please be aware that the house is heated by oil fired central heating, with no gas to the property.
