Do you like the idea of having a stunning home that could be reshaped and moulded into just how you want it to fit, as we all know are needs change as time goes by?

Well this gorgeous four bedroom detached house ticks so many boxes, it comes with a huge garden, a generous kitchen / dining room, with another snug next to it and then a spacious lounge next to that.....oh and if you have a teenager or an elderly relative wanting their independence but you still want to keep an eye on them, well this also comes with a two bed detached self-contained Annex......perfect for AirBnB too (see planning regulations before you do this though)

Your first glance of this house from the roadside, it's just a simple cream render with mahogany facias and trimmings. A low wall with high fence tops encircle the house and give the privacy you seek, while still showing enough of the home off to hint at the splendour waiting inside.

Grey brick pillars mark the entryway into the driveway, this is a wide tarmacked space for up to four or five cars. Plenty enough for the family and any guests you will inevitably have turn up. There is also masses of parking around the boundaries of this home.

Stepping through the front door, you enter into an absolutely stunning world of polished floor tiles, soft tan walls, oak skirting and doors with iron fittings and embellishments.

To the right sits a handy utility room with voids for your laundry machines, there's a handy work surface and plenty of room for some coats and shoe storage. It's perfectly placed to keep the clutter you don't want to see when you walk in.

The door to your left leads into the kitchen diner and through to the lounge and sun room / snug or larger dining area...this is a versatile home that provides so many options.

The kitchen has a beautiful polished floor, white cabinets and black granite countertops and splashbacks. There's a breakfast bar where guests or family can sit and enjoy a drink or snack, in a more relaxed fashion. A beamed ceiling gives away the age of the home while providing loads of character. A large window looks out over the front and provides a ample light into this space.

At the other end of the kitchen is a generous dining area which currently houses a six seat table and chairs comfortably. Another large window keeps the room bright and airy.

From the kitchen we walk into the next room, which connects us to the rest of the home.
It is currently a snug but it would make a perfect dining area if you wanted to host more lavish parties, as you could fit a much larger table and chairs in here. If you did want to do that, I'd suggest sticking a nice corner sofa in the kitchen where the table was, so that this area would become more of the hub for the home. You'd always be in here, as the kitchen is the social space in any good home.....that's what I'd do, but I'm not buying it sadly!

Patio doors open out to the lower patio area which is just a perfect spot for the BBQ, and it still offers fabulous views over the large rear garden.

The floors in these rooms are parquet wood that's been reclaimed from an old school house in Wallasey. Also, with the exposed beams, it gives more of a farm house feel that radiates comfort, but in a more modern style.

Next is the lounge. This follows the same style as the majority of the downstairs but a stone wall with a log burning stove sits at the far end, with even more exposed beams and oak trims. It's a cosy area which I think would be used more in the winter months, as the main party room will always be the kitchen. A large bay window pours light into the room in the day, with ample space for a large comfy corner sofa to snuggle into when the fire's roaring at night time, during those cold winter months.

To the right of the sun-room is quite a unique feature. A gorgeous, almost chapel-like, set of double doors with wrought iron hinges and handles lead you through into the inner hallway. They too have been reclaimed from that same demolished school and capped with a keystone, rescued from Buckley Brick Foundries.

Through this hall you find another room which is currently used as an office space. It's a long room, wide enough for a desk and chair but could easily be turned into a craft room, games room or even nursery, but also perfectly viable as a storage room for coats, boots and anything else you can think of. There is a stained glass arched window lending more aspect to the chapel like feel that you get from this area of the home.

To the right stands a generous bathroom. Soft pine effect storage cabinets with an inset toilet and wash basin adorn the outer wall, while a full length mirror hangs to the left (may not be included in the sale). This room is a generous size and if you really needed, you could adapt part of it to contain a shower cabinet, but seek a professional builders advice first.

While the downstairs is an extremely generous size, resplendent with unique features and spaces, I feel that one of the biggest perks to note is that, should you wish to you could remodel and reshape the entire layout of the downstairs. The walls between rooms are only stud walls, so any changes you want to make can be adapted and made fairly quickly and, I guess, somewhat easily.

Again, seek professional advice from a builder before you start doing this.

My suggestion would be, open the walls up in the kitchen and lounge and the snug to create one huge open-plan living space. It was originally like this but the present owners wanted to have separate rooms.....but what a great space for entertaining large amounts of people if you did open it all up again. You will be the host for Christmas gatherings from now on!

The ways you can adapt this house is limited only by your imagination and your wallet!

Leaving the downstairs cloakroom, we then head up the carpeted stairs, framed with an oak and iron banister, we step out onto a T shaped landing. That same subtle décor with oak doors and skirting flows throughout the entire upstairs.

To the left of the stairs is the bathroom and oh my.....what a gorgeous bathroom! Clean white walls with floor to ceiling tiles, patterned grey-white floor tiles and a raised section with blue spotter lights set into the skirts, all give it a fantastic décor. In here we find a free standing glass shower unit and a gorgeous claw-foot roll-top bath to perch on a raised dais, with a free standing shower and a vanity sink cabinet, all finished in crisp white to tie it all together.

Opposite the bathroom is the smallest of the four bedrooms. This is a decent sized single bedroom with laminate floors and a built in storage cupboard, it would make an ideal children's room or office/study. A wide window looks out over the front aspect of the house and also helps pour light into the room, where the soft wall colours diffuse it to create a warm and cozy space.

To the right of the stairs is what we'll call bedrooms two. A generous double bedroom with inbuilt wardrobes and wood effect floor, where you can easily fit a large bed in here with free standing furniture. Also, in the corner of the room is another handy inset cupboard. The generous window looks over the beautiful rear garden and again illuminates the room beautifully.

Opposite bedroom two, stands another bedroom, yup let's call it bedroom three for ease! It's very similar to its neighbour, but slightly shorter and without the inset cupboard! It is still generous enough for a good bed and some wardrobes, and again offers views out over the fabulous rear garden and field beyond.

Just outside this room, on the landing, is a handy hall cupboard for storing linens, towels and any other supplies you need to stash away!

To the end of the hall, you have the final bedroom in this part of the home.

Through a door to the left, you step into a stunning main bedroom. Calling this room generous is a bold understatement. Capable of holding a super-king bed, ample wardrobe space, there's even a section ideal for a make-up table and chair.

It also comes, as no surprise, with its own en-suite shower room.

You'll find all of the usual suspects that you'd expect to find, with a corner shower unit with curved glass doors, vanity sink unit and of course your obligatory toilet. Another window keeps it nice and light.

The main bedroom is a beautiful taste of luxury, with dual aspect windows looking over both the front and rear gardens, it's a wonder of comfort and style.

OK, so that's the main house, lets take a look at the garden. The plot that the house sits on is approximately half an acre. The garden isn't just generous, it's also grand in scale and comes with a patio spanning the rear of the house, bordered with a stone wall to the raised lawn.

To the left side of the house is a large space for a storage area and a log shed for the log burner. At the right side is a connecting drive to the front of the house and the separate self contained Annex.

A set of stone steps leads up to the raised lawn, capped with another relic of Buckley's history, Some original Foundry Bricks from Buckleys more industrious days.

A flagstone and crushed slate path leads to the rear of the garden where a raised patio, with a summer house, looks across the wide lawn. Behind the rear fence are beautiful views of fields and trees, simply put, it's nature at its finest, instead of just looking into your neighbours gardens, as most houses seem to!

Around the rest of the garden, high wood panel fencing keeps your privacy just that, private. With a garden this size, your family and friends are going to become regular visitors, as the amount of space you have for hosting parties and gatherings, is to die for! Personally, I think it's crying out for a Hot-Tub....but what do I know...

And in case you do have the family and friends over for a while and they need a place to settle down for the night, you aren't exactly pressed for space.

Because, to the right of the house is the detached Annex. A self-contained living space with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and a bathroom. Decorated throughout in the same style and finish as the main house, it gives a perfect place for family to visit for an extended time or for friends to crash out after a wild night! If you have a teenager or elderly relative looking for independence then this place is perfect, meaning you won't have to fork out for a deposit on a home for them.

You could also, if you were after a little extra income, AirBnB it!

The annex has it's own boiler and heating system independent of the main house, so you will need for nothing in there.

You may need planning permission to adapt this home into some of the ideas that we have mentioned, so please seek advice from professionals before you buy it.

Useful information:

COUNCIL TAX BAND: E (Flintshire) £248 PM
ELECTRIC & GAS: £180 PM
WATER BILL: £32 PM

These figures are a guide and based on the present owners usage so will differ depending on your consumption

Photos are taken with a WIDE ANGLE CAMERA so PLEASE LOOK at the 3D & 2D floor plans for approximate room sizes as we don't want you turning up at the home and being disappointed, courtesy of planstosell.co.uk:

All in all, the whole house and annex complex is a perfect home for a large family with teenagers who have aspirations of independence, love open space to sprawl out and enjoy themselves, or a small family who love to entertain friends and relatives without having to spend a fortune on hotels! It's a fully customisable house with huge potential, but at the same time is ready to move straight into without having to remodel. This is a home that could be everything you want it to be, no matter whether your intentions are, settling straight in or remodelling to your hearts content! It could also provide an additional income as an AirBnB (provided you gained the right permissions first)
