Outside, there are gardens with various sit-out areas, a number of raised growing beds, an attractive pond, and the paddock slopes gently upwards from the garden and would be perfect for keeping a few sheep or ponies. The whole site extends to approximately 1.73 acres as measured on Promap.

Foxgloves occupies a lovely position on the south-eastern edge of Dartmoor in the hamlet of Higher Sigford. Ilsington village with its pub, primary school, community village shop and church is within walking distance via the minor Devon lanes. The open moor at nearby Pinchford Bowl and Haytor Down provide scenic walking and riding country. Whilst enjoying all the benefits of country living Higher Sigford is within reach of the towns of Ashburton (four miles) and Bovey Tracey (five miles) as well as being less than ten minutes drive of the A38 for Exeter and Plymouth. The market town of Newton Abbot is a twenty minute drive.

DIRECTIONS
From Ashburton join the A38 at Linhay in the Exeter direction and take the Goodstone exit, signposted Newton Abbot/Bickington onto the A383. After around half a mile turn left signposted Exeter/Ilsington and at the bottom of the hill take the first left by the red post box (signposted Haytor). Stay on the lane for 2.4 miles and take a left signposted Sigford. Foxgloves will be found down this lane on the right.
