Description
Ideal Homes are delighted to bring to the market this well presented lodge located within Whitsand Bay Fort. This three bedroom luxury lodge benefits from superb sea views as well as panoramic countryside views, hot tub, central heating, parking and use of the parks leisure facilities. NO CHAIN
Whitsand Bay Holiday Park is situated on the Devon/ Cornwall border, just a few miles west of Plymouth and east of Looe. Hidden in the eastern corner of Cornwall, the holiday park enjoys stunning and contrasting views in all directions. Breathtaking sea views across the four mile sweep of coastline accompany spectacular countryside views across the Tamar estuary, Plymouth against the spectacular backdrop of Dartmoor. The area is particularly attractive to families who enjoy the outdoors. You will see surfers along the beach at all times of the year, divers explore the local wrecks of HMS Scylla whilst fishing is enjoyed off the rocks at Rame, and coarse fishing from a nearby lake. Walkers can explore the coastal paths, and paragliders use the adjacent hill to launch. The nearest beach to the park is Tregonhawke beach which is a 10 minutes` walk down via the cliff path.
The Rame Peninsula area is totally unspoilt and quite unique, sometimes referred to as Cornwall`s "forgotten corner` with its winding lanes, small villages and amazing views. Within a ten mile radius there is so much to see and do for all the family. The area is steeped in history, being popular for centuries for fishing from the local villages, and the beaches of Whitsand Bay were the landing place of choice for local smugglers out of Cawsand , Looe and Polperro, due to its remote location.
The property will be sold fully furnished.
