Description

"This was our first home together, we took on a project and loved making it into our perfect home together. We even got engaged and had our wedding reception in the house (thanks to Covid!). We have absolutely loved living in Easton and will miss it greatly. We love having brunch spots such as No12 and Garden of Easton on our doorstep, as well as The Greenbank for a drink in the evening. The Sweetmart has saved me numerous times when I’ve been in need of obscure spices and ingredients!"

Barratt Street is a quiet terraced street offering a particularly tranquil spot within this vibrant residential area of the city. Easton is renowned for its distinctive character and community spirit It boasts a host of local amenities, attractions and community events that draw many visitors from outside the area, which is well connected to the city centre and beyond by bike, road and train. Stapleton Road train station is a few minutes’ walk and the M32 and the A431 to Bath are both a few minutes’ drive. The area is home to a number of Bristol's finest independent shops and eateries, hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. Situated along the award winning St Mark’s Road are Bristol Sweet Mart, Thali Café, East Bristol Bakery, and The Garden of Easton. Nearby are also No 12 Café, The Greenbank pub, Este Kitchen, Matter Wholefoods, and Public Market. Whitehall School and Bannerman Road School are very close and both are highly regarded. Easton Leisure Centre is nearby and the Bristol Hawks Gymnastics Club, a city-wide family activity attraction is at the end of the road. There are many green spaces including the Greenbank Cemetery, the parks at Eastville and St George, and riverside walks along the nearby Frome Valley. Just minutes from the house is the locally cherished Bristol to Bath Cycle Path, ideal for commuting quickly into the city centre or just for weekend strolls, long runs or bike rides.

This beautifully updated two-bedroom Victorian terrace has been fully renovated to an exceptional standard, combining period charm with a fresh, modern look. The ground floor boasts a versatile, open-plan double reception room that flows into a contemporary kitchen, complete with shaker-style cabinets, a quartz worktop, and integrated appliances. The space is enhanced by engineered oak herringbone flooring, a feature fireplace, and built-in shelving. Double doors lead to a private rear garden, featuring raised flower beds and ample seating, perfect for enjoying sunny days. Upstairs, you’ll find two generously sized double bedrooms, both newly recarpeted and a stylish, modern shower room. The entire home is filled with natural light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere throughout.
