1Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The development is in a decent location. Not too far from a Sainsbury's local and a Tesco Express not much further away. Close enough to Salford Central train station.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Ha ha. That's funny. They don't. They ignore or dismiss them.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The REAL view of what the management is like. They'll do a good sales pitch but won't deliver on it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They response to the problems was decent. I wish the timelines to complete the work were shorter

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is quite convenient, being close to the city center, with a Sainsbury’s Local right at the doorstep. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to a bus stop offering free rides to Piccadilly, which is handy. However, parking can be an issue. NCP parking is expensive, and the limited roadside parking for loading has to be shared by three buildings, which isn’t ideal. There’s also some noticeable noise from the ring road and nearby trains especially if you live in flint building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I don't have many issues during time here. Most of the time they can respond promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Construction work is doing next to Flint building currently which may have some noise.
Manager's response5Hi, Thank you so much for your lovely review! Happy to know that you are enjoying our fantastic facilities to the fullest :) All the ageing parts have been fixed in our lifts in the Flint building so we shouldn't experience significant downtimes often anymore! Once again thank you for your lovely review, I'll be sure to pass your comments to the team.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The place is close to a local sainsbury’s but the train station isn’t connected to any major station directly so having to get a connection can be a little annoying. I go to university and the 35 minute walk can be tiring but it could be much worse.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
To my knowledge when the elevator broke down yesterday it was immediately acknowledged by the building and they have supposedly called out their engineers, although I’m not sure if the elevator has been fixed yet.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known about the overall cleanliness of the apartment as even thing such as the washing machine manual the manual for the dishwasher and more are very dirty so much so that they’re covered in these weird brown and black spots and some places are just littered with some type of trash, which was a little bit, weird and not enjoyable to get rid of in the first moments of moving in.
Manager's response4Hi Patrick, Thank you so much for your review and your kind words. Apologies for the issues you have faced on check in and I do hope that everything has now been sorted. I have passed your comments to our Facilities Manager so he can review some of the check in procedures with his team and understand a bit better what have happened on this occasion as this is not the level of service we aim to provide. Hopefully you are now fully settled and enjoying your stay in the Slate Yard :) Thank you!
