The riverside village of Naburn sits on the eastern banks of the River Ouse, around four miles from York City Centre. York is on the East Coast mainline, some services making the journey to London Kings Cross in under two hours. There is a bus service to the city centre as well as a national cycle network to York and Selby.
York boasts a range of local cafes, shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants including the award winning The Star Inn the City by Andrew Pern and the Michelin-starred restaurant, Roots, by Tommy Banks.
