We have enjoyed our home in Sika Gardens. Our neighbours have been absolutely wonderful, and the community is very welcoming. The abundance of green spaces and convenient access to the countryside has been a delight, particularly as the children have been growing up. The spacious bedrooms have been a real treat for the kids, especially during their teenage years. Our walled garden has served as the perfect setting for summer BBQs, while the insulated and heated garden room has been a versatile space for both a gym and workshop. Three Mile Cross offers convenient parks, local shops and a charming pub, with several supermarkets just a short drive away. The easy access to frequent and fast buses to town, a nearby station in GreenPark, and the proximity to the M4 make transportation a breeze, whether by car or public transport. Additionally, the corner plot provides ample parking space, adding to the convenience of our wonderful home.

There is a huge amount of house here and it's so versitle to make the layout work for you, whether you need 5 bedrooms or want to create extra living spaces or offices, there's tonnes of options. As it stands, on the ground floor you've got a lovely big entrance hall and a a study and entrances into either the lounge or the kitchen. The lounge is semi-open plan into the dining room, and loops back round to the kitchen via a utility and downstairs loo, giving the house a lovely flow throughout. The first floor has three bedrooms and a family bathroom positioned off a lovely big landing. The main bedroom is huge with a dressing area and en-suite - all the bathrooms are finished to a really lovely spec. The top floor has two huge double bedrooms with access to eaves storage and a shared show room. You've also got a lovely sized garden with pretty flower beds, a garden room and access into the garage.

Three Mile Cross is so named as it lies three miles south of Reading on the old Basingstoke Road. It is a small rural village and the community is divided by the A33 Basingstoke - Reading road. It is designated an area of special character and is located close to Junction 11 of the M4.Three Mile Cross village has local amenities including a handy Budgens and recently reopened Swan Pub just a short walk away and you're not too far from either Shinfield and Lower Earley offering further amenities and pubs. More extensive shopping facilities may be found in the bustling market town of Wokingham and the town of Reading with its Oracle Shopping Centre and you have public transport links including Mereoak Park and Ride just a short walk away from this property and you also have easy access to the new train link in Green Park, making it much easier to commute to London now.
