The open plan kitchen features sleek recessed handles, Silestone quartz worktops and a porcelain sink, plus an integrated Bosch oven with induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Cabinetry in a warm eggshell nods to the apartment’s natural palette, while the tiled splashback adds a gentle lustre. The communal areas of The Sessile have been created in collaboration with one of the biggest names in hospitality design. Loved for her layered, eclectic aesthetic, the London-based interior designer is behind some of the world's best-loved spaces, from members' clubs to restaurants. You'll find that same design flair in every detail of The Sessile, starting with the bespoke coloured marble desk holding court at reception. 

The spacious, air-conditioned gym on the ground floor has all the equipment you’d expect from a top facility, so forget queuing for a lone treadmill or tussling over a few free weights. Firmly a strip light-free zone, this calm space features burl wood banquette seating for resting between reps, while blue-tinted mirrors and a micro cement water station tick off the functional bits with flair. Cubby holes are a clever way to keep your belongings to hand. 

Up on the tenth floor, the orangery is a sunlit atrium that unfolds around a retro tiled hearth. With chandeliers overhead and plush rugs underfoot, residents can sink into an armchair by the fire, or set up shop for the day on a shared table with plenty of plug sockets. Designed to flex for every need, this space can be connected to a commercial-grade chef’s kitchen and table, expertly kitted out for caterers or big names stopping by to run a supper club. A range of private dining rooms on this floor are bookable for birthdays and gatherings that require a little extra fanfare. 

Just the spot for stylish sundowners, The Sessile’s roof terrace runs the full length of the orangery. Planters are built in beside the striped banquettes, so screening is supplied by lush palms and fiddle leaf figs. Sessile signatures include brick red accents, bronze finishes and geometric green tiles underfoot, which were designed in collaboration with Hackney-based Otto Tiles. The planting has been masterminded by east London favourite Conservatory Archives, and the art curated from local talents who draw on the area’s heritage of pottery production.

Tottenham Hale is a lively community at the juncture of north and east London. Nestled between Tottenham High Road and the River Lea, the neighbourhood was once an industrial powerhouse and now attracts a diverse crowd of creatives, young families and professionals. Top transport links mean King’s Cross is 11 minutes away and Oxford Circus only five more, while handy National Rail routes deliver you directly to Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport.
