St Germain-les-Belles is at about 15 kms and offers (besides being a lovely village) a dentist, restaurants and bars, smaller shops. Châteauneuf-la-Fôret offers amongst others the Supermarket. Limoges has got most everything and its airport (45 minutes) offers regular flights top the UK: London Stanstead and Gatwick, Southampton, Bristol, Nottingham and Bradford/Leeds .
Limoges also has a centrally-positioned train station which will connect you to the North (Paris) as well as the South (Toulouse, Carcassonne)
