Situated on Moor Croft in New Brighton this home is ideally positioned for access into Mold, a journey catered for by an excellent local bus service or, thanks to its close proximity to the Aston Hill, access by car to Queensferry, the Deeside strip and Ellesmere Port.
The employment opportunities offered by these locations make this a very attractive place to live and after a long day's toil this is exactly the welcoming environment you would wish to come home to.
The initial impression given by this home is that of a well kept, semi detached bungalow. A small lawn bordered by crushed gravel pathways lies to the front of the home, behind a neatly trimmed dwarf hedge. Beside this is a drive leading past the side elevation of the building with its centrally positioned back door towards the detached garage at the rear.
Up some steps to a raised pathway across the front of the home we come to the modern composite front door, in turn opening into a surprisingly spacious inner hallway.
This contains more than enough room for the hanging of outdoor clothes and shoes, and also houses the concealed Baxi gas combi boiler and accompanying electric supply panel.
Turning right from here reveals the lounge where the hall's attractive quality wood effect flooring continues, and which again, surprises with its size. The room is kept bright and well lit by the large picture window overlooking the front garden and is big enough to not be overpowered by some of today's fashionably bulky furniture. The crowning glory of the room is without a doubt the log burning stove nestled beneath the impressively solid looking oak mantle and which gives the welcoming glow that only a real fire can achieve. Yes, these are harder work than merely flicking a switch, but this is a small price to pay for the atmosphere they provide. For the occasions when it seems too much, there is the central heating to fall back on.
A door at the rear of the room opens into the kitchen which while not the biggest on the planet is ergonomically laid out for the maximum convenience, with everything falling easily to hand. The chef stands in the centre of a deep 'U' shaped formation of stylish units surrounded by storage and work surfaces which also conceal the white goods.
The remaining door from the lounge goes into a small square inner hall, off which there is first of all, the bathroom.
This has been refurbished to the highest of standards, taking it into the realms of boutique hotels which is saying something. Kept cos by the attractive and practical stainless heated towel rail and tiled from floor to ceiling in light grey with contrasting ceramic flooring everything is overseen by the subtle recessed bulbs set into the ceiling and which ensure excellent light levels. The modern suite comprises a futuristic unitary hand basin and lavatory with plenty of additional storage while the bath is provided with a folding glass side screen to protect the room from any over-enthusiastic use of the shower above.
Adjacent to here is the first of the bedrooms, which is a perfectly adequately sized double room. A large window overlooks the rear garden, making for a peaceful atmosphere and allowing for plenty of natural light.
And finally we come to the principal bedroom where space is never going to be an issue. With a similar outlook this room offers enough space for twin bedside cabinets to accompany the bed (and a king size would not look out of place) while still allowing for free standing wardrobes and chests of drawers. It is neat, unpretentious and does everything you could ask of it, rather like the rest of this attractive home.
Outside the back door the drive continues towards the detached garage where the home springs its last surprise, as the garden opens up before you. This is a bungalow in suburbia and while it would be unreasonable to expect somewhere you could put a nine-hole golf course, there is nevertheless far more space than you anticipate. Kept mainly to simple lawn for ease of maintenance, this is somewhere to just relax in your deck chair and let the world go about its business and, being surrounded by similar bungalows means you can do your relaxing in privacy and without fear of being overlooked.
Now, should just chilling begin to lose its appeal and you feel the need to start doing stuff and making things, the garage with its insulated roof, power supply and lighting could easily become a workshop or alternatively, at the end of the summer it could keep the recently redundant deck chairs safe and dry until next year....

All in all this is a home that delivers far more than you would initially expect from it. Standing in an area predominated by similar looking bungalows, you expect something run of the mill but if that is the case you are in for a very pleasant surprise. It is more spacious than initial impressions would have you believe but what really sets it apart is the overall condition, which means you could move straight in without fear of any looming trips to B & Q spoiling your weekends. Should you harbour any pretentions towards being the next Alan Titchmarsh the garden is a blank canvas on which to weave your magic or alternatively, enjoy the freedom that a simple fortnightly session with a lawn mower brings. All this, when coupled with its location so easily accessible from Mold and the major road links, conspire to make this just a little bit special and isn't that something we all want from our homes?
