Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Perfect location - Aldi just across the street. Bus stops located near the apartment. Parking on site both inside the underground parking lot and outside within the complex. Due to 24/7 concierge, very safe even at night with very minimal disturbances.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Using the app, every requests and queries are recorded and tracked. The management responds swiftly within couple of days and keeps their promise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing. Starting from the viewing, all the information about the building, the individual flat, and its amenities were thoroughly explained.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the location, it’s very close to the train station and there are plenty of shops around. Parking also very convenient when I have my friends over, there’s space next to the building and u just have to register the plate number with the reception.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mostly email basis. In general they respond 1-3 working days which is fine

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t know there’s another exit from east Croydon station that connects to the Home office, so I feel safer to use that exit to go home especially at late night.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Castings is located near ALDI, Sainsbury's, Picadilly Station and Freight Island! It is very accessible and close to a lot of societal areas.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Initially, they were a bit slow as the apartments just opened, but now they try to resolve the situation within 24 hours, which is perfect for someone like me who often has to go into the office.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Recommended providers for electricity and water. How often events would happen

    The Almere, MK9

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There’s a genuine community feel here—people say hello in the lifts, and the regular events make it easy to get to know your neighbours. As someone who moved to MK from another city, that’s made a huge difference in helping me settle in. The location is fantastic. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, walking to the station, or doing a quick shop, everything is right on your doorstep. You’re close to Campbell Park for green space, and there are plenty of leisure options nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The maintenance team is excellent—very responsive and proactive. I once logged a minor issue with my shower, and it was fixed the same day with no fuss.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A tip would be to take advantage of the co-working spaces and bookable private areas—they’re perfect for working from home or even hosting small gatherings. And don’t miss out on resident socials—they’re well organised and a great way to make new friends.

    The Almere, MK9

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location-wise, it’s ideal. The Almere is right in the city centre, just a short walk from the station (great for commuting to London), shopping centre, and loads of restaurants and cafes. Despite the central location, it’s surprisingly quiet inside the apartments thanks to great soundproofing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I’ve raised have been sorted quickly, thanks in large part to the brilliant maintenance team. They’re always on hand, efficient, and incredibly professional—whether it’s fixing something minor or handling a more complex issue, they get it done quickly and with a smile.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Ask the team about their Neighbourhood heroes —there are some great resident perks available on their app when you become a resident.
