It has a close proximity to the center, easy to get to, along with a theatre being in front of the residence as well as a Sainsburys being available.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, any issues I have had have been quickly addressed

How heating works as this was a brand new thing for me

Moda, New York Square is a fabulous location for easy access to all the best bars and restaurants that Leeds has to offer. The Leeds Playhouse and other theatres are very close by too.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Efficiently and effectively at all times. Alex and Ian always do everything they can to resolve all issues as soon as possible

With Moda the old adage, The more you put in, the more you get out, certainly applies - There is a fabulous community here If you make the effort to engage with it.

Sainsburys is in the building, John Lewis and Victoria Gate shopping centre right across the road which is handy. Bus station is nearby and train station isn’t far either but everything in the city centre is walking distance

Haven’t really had any problems but they have answered any questions I’ve had

A tip I’d give new neighbours - get to know the front desk team, they’re super helpful and make a big difference when you have questions or need support

Moda is super close to town centre. It’s been so lovely to be able to walk to and from work and just nip into town. There’s an Aldi not too far and a sainsburys local attached to the building which is fab!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any questions or issues I have had, have been sorted in no more than a day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking on the street can be quite difficult if you don't reserve the car park.

MODA New York Square is right in the heart of Leeds city centre, which makes everything incredibly accessible. There’s a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and local shops just steps away, along with a fresh farmers market right across the street and the historic indoor Kirkgate Market nearby. For groceries, Sainsbury’s is the nearest large supermarket, with plenty of convenience options like Sainsbury’s Local, Tesco Express, and Co-op also nearby. Transport links are generally excellent, with bus stops, Leeds train station, and cycle routes all within easy reach. However, traffic can get congested during peak hours, especially on nearby main roads. Living on this street is fairly peaceful. Bin collections are reliable, and the development is well-maintained. Parking is limited for visitors but manageable for residents. There’s little to no anti-social behaviour, and the area feels safe and vibrant, especially with the secure entry and on-site staff at MODA.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management at MODA has been consistently responsive and efficient whenever we’ve raised an issue. Whether it’s maintenance requests, general queries, or help with deliveries, the team responds promptly. Minor repairs have been dealt with quickly and professionally, and communication through the MODA app makes the whole process smooth and transparent.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Limited visitor parking, which makes it difficult if you have a company for few hours. However there is a Victoria parking across the street for £10 a day. We do home cooked meals and tend to spend fair bit of time in the kitchen. It is small with limited prep space. It can get a bit noisy during in-house events. Communal areas can get busy.
