The outdoor spaces are excellent and more than sufficient for residents to fully enjoy. Fellow residents also live peacefully, and the presence of nearby bakeries, cafés, restaurants, and pubs adds greatly to the overall satisfaction of living here. One of the most delightful aspects of Mustard Wharf is being able to walk or exercise along the canal on sunny days. Another great advantage is the proximity to the train station. Depending on the location of the apartment within the building, there may occasionally be some noise, but this also means exceptional convenience when using the station. With just about a five-minute walk, it is extremely easy to travel to other areas or embark on trips. The waste management and cleanliness are also excellent, with staff making dedicated efforts every day to maintain the property.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When I had difficulties operating the washing machine, it was checked on the very same day, and I was kindly informed in advance about the procedures that would take place if additional repairs or actions were required. In addition, whenever I made inquiries regarding the facilities, I received very prompt checks and responses, which were a great help to me. I would like to express my sincere gratitude especially to Ellen and Jac for their support.

If you are a university student, it would be good to also consider the commuting distance and available transportation options.

The good thing about living in the area is It feels really good living so central where almost everywhere is a walking distance. Station, cornerstones, pubs and grocery stores are all within a walking distance. The only bad thing about living in the area is the loud noice of motorcycles around quiet hours

If any issue is raised it is being resolved in about a day and it is being fixed properly

Nothing I can think of, everything just seemed to work out really well on moving in

The good aspects is the local area, you are only a 10 minute walk max into town and the local transport links. The shops are on your doorstep with a general store opposite the building and an Aldi down the road. Ancoats is a cute upcoming area with cute bars and a great atmosphere.

Yes, we had an issue with some lights out and the team quickly resolved this for me which is great

Wish there was a gym on site but we believe there could be another one on site soon.

I have lived in Anco & Co for almost 5 years now - and to be honest I can't imagine living anywhere else. The location is perfect, I would only leave when I go to buy my own flat and event then I want it to be in the exact location. Where in the world can you step outside your front door and be inside a supermarket or pub in less than 45 seconds. The location is incredible. Best neighbourhood in Manchester. And there is a monthly Markers Market on the doorstep in Cutting Room Square, it's a pretty unique place to live. I've met some of my closest friends living in Anco & Co, meeting on the roof in summer them becoming forever long friends. There is hardly ever any noise, considering how populated the area is. No negatives. Location is 11/10 - no notes!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Again, the issue with the gym downstairs - not really the building management's fault, however we've asked when this will be sorted and yet to receive an update.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the gym isn't actually included within your rent, i.e. when it closed down, it was deemed as a 'luxury' rather than a staple of the building.
