It’s a pleasant and safe place to live, with minimal traffic noise and a nice sense of neighbourhood spirit.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how friendly and welcoming the community is — it truly makes a difference in daily life. I’d also mention that the area is quieter than expected, with plenty of nearby amenities and green spaces that make it even more enjoyable. For new neighbours, I’d recommend getting involved in local events or community groups, as it’s a great way to meet people and feel at home quickly. Overall, living here has been a very positive and rewarding experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
When you come from another country, change many house in few years isn't easy call a place HOME. The sea view always remaind me that life is movement and changing is part of it. When I entered in my flat simply for a view I couldn't not have ask for more. We are beyond lucky to been given this opportunity. This place isn't just a luxury apartment. Is a window on the sunrise, a walk to the shore, a fresh air on the bad day... is people welcoming you with a smile and extremely kindness. Hard to know most of my neighbours considering the numbers of flats but every encounter is a shared smile. My kids loved to be surrounded from shops and walking paths. My Dog dreams to catch a swan one day from our balcony. I adore the sunset and the reflection of dock light into the water. Rainbow are a must after a rainy day . Building is coming up fast and service is amazing. Never miss a parcel and I always find a concierge ready to help. Highly recommended for practical city transports access, lovely walk time, great pub on the shore and the familiar sense of comunity. Great school catchment. Very pet friendly neighbours. The apartment are amazingly designed and the neutral colour is matching with any of your own personal vibes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I find everyone very helpful. Any concerns has been sorted Promptly and efficiently .
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The air is fresh and clean. Walking in every direction is pleasant. Sometimes it is just nice to go for a stroll locally. 5 of the top 7 or 8 UK supermarkets are nearby. The ocean terminal is next door to my house. The tram is close. There is a very unique blend of places to eat and drink nearby. The area is more than likely going to become one of the most dynamic and vibrant places in Europe for people of all ages and cultures to live in. I personally sense opportunity and development. Leith is a special place to grow and live in. The only negative I find is with the buses, especially if Trams are having issues. In my opinion, the Port of Leith, between the Tram and Dockside / Fingal should have a bus stop for 3 buses into Edinburgh City centre, to the east and to the west.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Promptly and the issues I have encountered have all been resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had measured all the rooms / walls when I did my confirmation viewing. Had I done that, I could have planned all of my storage and furniture in advance of moving in. I also recommend preparing for access around the tram line. Parking/dropping off can be tricky while the development is completed. I also recommend having a positive and considerate mindset while Dockside comes to life. We are living in a new and exciting place that is learning and growing.
Manager's response5Hi there, Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We’re really pleased to hear you’re enjoying your experience at Dockside. Our team works hard to create a welcoming and well-managed environment, so your feedback truly means a lot. If there's ever anything we can help with, we’re just a message or call away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I love the apartment and the area. There is everything I need close at hand, including vet, shopping, hairdresser and, especially useful, a dog crèche. I don’t notice traffic noise. The main drawback is lack of parking. I need to park at a considerable distance away which creates inconvenience.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Issues have been resolved promptly. I got trapped in bin store; my fob would not operate the door and fortunately the access door to outside was open and one of the “hard hat” people was very helpful as were reception staff.i t
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I feel I had a clear idea of what to expect. The inconvenience of a lack of entry phone did not occur to me.
Manager's response4Hi Beth, We’re really grateful for your kind words—thank you! Whether it’s the quality of the apartments, the location, or the service from our team, we’re glad to know you’re having a positive experience. Transport is super simple and easy. It is close to the ocean terminal mall and tram stop with easy access to larger grocery shops.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Parcel delivery is not always accurate or has not been delivered properly.
