Property description

Appreciating Assets are delighted to offer for sale this fully-furnished and extremely spacious at approximately 100 square metres internally, 2-bed apartment in Block C of the well known & highly sought after Sunset Resort development in Pomorie, now asking £55,000 (70,000 euros)

Property Description

This is a large and spacious property measuring approximately 100 square metres in terms of internal floor space, which is very much par for the course for this particular development - Sunset Resort - which is however quite exceptional when compared to the rest of the black Sea coast; Pomorie and nearby Sunny Beach in particular. This apartment is in Block C which was part of the 'Sigma' or Phase 1 of the overall development. Accordingly, a property of this size with two double bedrooms can easily accommodate 6 adults, especially when additional sofa-beds are taken into account. This apartment enjoys an ample open-plan kitchen/dining-cum-living room leading onto double-glazed patio doors to the balcony area. The covered balcony can be easily accessed from the bedroom as well as the main living room. The kitchen is modern and clean looking with wooden cabinets complimented by dark back splash. The bedrooms like the rest of the property are painted in neutral colours and feature free-standing wood-style wardrobes and cabinets. The bathroom is fully-tiled with shower and Sunset Resort bathrooms are noted for their large marble-type inset sinks (often his + hers) or wash-hand basins, just like you would expect to find in an upmarket hotel. Condition of this property throughout is excellent and is priced competitively as properties in this particular development rarely if ever change hands for less than one thousand euros per square metre (definitely seen as a floor).

What really makes Sunset Resort in Pomorie so popular is not just the size and quality of the apartments, that's half the story, the other half is the superb location & 400 metre long sandy beach that is adjacent to the resort, not to mention all of the wonderful facilities and amenities on offer.

Background on Sunset Resort Pomorie

Sunset Resort is located in the town of Pomorie, with a great south west orientation. It is only 15 minutes away from Burgas International airport and less than 20 minutes from the city of Burgas itself, the second biggest city on the Black Sea coast. Sunny Beach, the most famous resort of the Bulgarian Black Sea is also less than 15 minutes away as is the ancient and historical town of Nessebar, which is rightly famous for its architecture and archaeology.

Sunset Resort has a huge range of facilities, including swimming pools (outdoor and indoor), pool bars, cocktail bars, restaurants, shops, outdoor cafes, etc. and is set in extensive private grounds. There are beautiful views of the sea and, indeed, towards the Stara Planina Mountain. This is a luxurious resort that is the envy of many in Europe with all the leisure facilities and services you could possibly wish for - a great choice for a high class vacation.

The quality of the Sunset Resort development is evident from the moment you arrive and is mirrored by the quality of build and finishes in this lovely apartment. This fully furnished apartment overlooking the crystal blue waters of the Black Sea, is available to use immediately as a summer home or indeed as a rental property to the flourishing holiday market. An excellent long term investment at this price, we are happy to recommend it.

Pomorie - Background Information
Pomorie was founded by the Ancient Greeks under the name Anchialos (Greek: Αγχίαλος), deriving from Ancient Greek "anchi-" ("near, close to") and "als-" (either "salt" or a poetic and uncommon word for "sea"). In Latin, this was rendered as Anchialus. The Bulgars called the town Tuthom, though it's more common name in Bulgarian was Анхиало, Anhialo based on the Greek name. During the Ottoman rule, the town was called Ahyolu. In 1934 the town was renamed to Pomorie, from the Bulgarian "po-" (in this context "by, next to") and "more" ("sea"), corresponding to one of the two etymologies of the original Greek name.
