The area boasts an abundance of sporting and leisure opportunities, National Hunt Racing can be found at Exeter, Taunton and Wincanton, whilst the south west coastlines of Exmoor and North Devon offer some of the best sailing, surfing and beaches in England and are within easy reach. The shooting in the area takes advantage of the spectacular rolling topography of the moor and its hinterland. The walking and horse-riding within the Exmoor National Park provides breath-taking scenery and countless routes to explore.
