Life At 18 Lady Cooper Court - A Personal View - Our father moved to Castle Village, leaving his large family home and garden, and spent 17 happy and fulfilled years here. Despite his initial apprehension at leaving his family home, life at Castle Village brought so many new opportunities and friends that our father enjoyed this new phase of his life to the full. He loved this spacious home, with its safe and secure environment and easy access to the wonderful grounds, golf courses and surrounding countryside. His large apartment meant he could remain the hub of our family, where he regularly hosted large family gatherings and frequently had friends and family to stay. He quickly immersed himself in the social life of the Castle Village community. He took an active role, for example, in marquee week, amateur dramatics, scrabble and enjoyed organised theatre trips.

He lived independently throughout, safe in the knowledge that friends and assistance were on hand if needed.
