The main settlement lies on the northeastern tip of the island, opposite Pounda on the island of Paros, where a ferry sails for Antiparos harbor. The historical center is located in the Venetian castle of Antiparos, which is connected through the shopping streets in the picturesque coastal street. The most popular beaches are Soros, Apantima and Monastiria.
