The village of Olonzac, between the Canal du Midi and the village of Minerve, is located 43 km from Béziers, 30 km from Narbonne and 36 km from Carcassonne.Olonzac has a large weekly market (every Tuesday morning) and its daily life is enhanced by the presence of many local shops. A "Vival" grocery store in the center of the village, an organic grocery store, four cafes, two pharmacies, a tobacconist and some restaurants. In recent years, the village has even its "shopping center" to meet the needs of locals and holiday makers thriving particularly in the summer months. Most of the symbolic monuments of the municipality are located in the centre of the village. Thus, near the town hall, we find the church of the village which houses the Sunday services. In addition, about 50 m north-east of the church, one can enjoy the facade of the former "Café Plana" the interior being classified as a historical monument.
