What do you love most about your home?
This was our first home together so it will always be very special to us. Right from the very first day we moved in we loved the open plan kitchen and living room; we're both passionate cooks and can spend hours baking, cooking and prepping lunches together or with one of us tucked up on the sofa. Despite its small size, we've always felt we can have our own space while still feeling connected.

Beside the layout, we feel really fortunate to be on the 6th floor. We have really lovely neighbours and we've never had any noise issues but best of all no one is above us which creates a semi open balcony (our favourite space in the flat). We get the sun first thing in the morning but it is cooler in the evening so it's really nice to sit out and relax as well as having our own mini garden up in the sky.

What do you love about the area?
So many things are lovely about Greenwich and there are many local secrets that those visiting don't know! The park and the river are both less than a 5-minute walk away so we spend a lot of evenings walking around to hear the waves or enjoy the big green spaces, especially in the summer. We both have a passion for history and learning so being close to the National Maritime Museum, Old Royal Naval College, Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory is so special! The selection of bars and pubs is great, the Old Joinery recently opened its door just down the road and it offers artisan beers and cider as well as great food and music. There are so many lovely bars, shops and businesses in Greenwich such as Heaps if you fancy a cheeky breakfast or Dark Sugars for the best ice cream ever.

Although we are not commuting regularly, having the train station and DLR just 30 seconds away is the absolute height of convenience, allowing us to get into London Bridge and Canary Wharf in just 10 minutes (of course coming home late at night is easy too).
Both of us cycle and make use of the new superhighway in Greenwich to get around, it's really easy to go further into town or down to North Greenwich. There are also some lovely cycle cafes just around the corner in Deptford or in Surrey Quays.

The building is really secure with fob access from the lift on the ground floor only allowing access to your floor. The building is wired with hyperoptic broadband, so we have speeds up to 1gb, which makes working from home a breeze. Finally, the balcony is a big selling point for us. We are not as looked down on which we think really adds privacy. The only flat that opposite is owned by a lovely elderly gentleman who lives alone. The bathroom and kitchen are also a great size and plenty of storage.
