What do you love most about your home?

We love the space in this flat. It has huge amounts of storage (shed, boiler cupboard, and 3 large internal cupboards), which allows us to keep the large rooms really clear and light. It's also a really safe block, only accessible by tenants with a fob, and there are only 4 flats in this block, meaning it's quiet and private. I also love the location. We are less than 5 minutes' walk from the heart of Walthamstow village, Wood Street, and less than 8 minutes from Walthamstow station. It's a dream location and a safe walk home at night.

Why are you moving?

We're only moving so that we have space to grow into in the future. We would like a couple more bedrooms and will be moving further out to do this.

What do you love about the area?

We're right on the edge of Walthamstow Village. It's a beautiful and leafy area, that feels very safe. We have beautiful cherry blossom trees right out the front of the flat, and these make it a beautiful place to live. Walthamstow Village has an array of restaurants and shops that we can stroll to on a weekend, and make it an ideal break from the noise of central London.We're also a short walk from Lloyd Park and Hoe Street, which means that we can stroll to the Farmer's Market on a weekend, or sit in the park in the sun.

Ideally we're also only a short 8 minute walk from Walthamstow Central and Wood Street, so there's a great selection of transport, and you always get a seat on the tube!

Walthamstow is getting better every year, with more and more opening up in the area. From Mirth, Marvel and Maud for cocktails, to Eat 17 or Buhler and Co for a delicious dinner, there's plenty to do. It still feels like a community, and is a genuinely lovely place to live.
