Comments from the owner:
What do you love about the property?
We love that our flat, located in a well preserved Victorian detached house, is full of period features, including original floorboards, a fireplace, and double-glazed sash windows. What really sold it for us was the stunning views from the living room and bedroom: you see across Richmond and have views of Star and Garter House and St Mattias Church. The Barons is a very quiet neighbourhood and we have always felt very safe here.
Why are you moving?
The only reason we are moving is to be closer to family who unfortunately do not live in London.
What do you love about the area?
Everything! St Margaret's Station is a couple of minutes' walk away with frequent service to Waterloo Station. We are also a short walk away from Richmond station where you can access the overground, underground, and other regular train links into London/the countryside. In the four years we've lived here, we've never really felt the need to go into central London to access good restaurants or to shop: you have everything you need here. As for green spaces, you are spoilt for choice: from Marble Hill Park to Richmond Park and everything in between, it is difficult to go on the same walk twice.
