About the area

Street is a large village and civil parish in the county of Somerset, having a population of about 11,800 and situated just 2 miles south west of Glastonbury. Most of its history is dominated by that of Glastonbury, and for many years it housed the corporate headquarters and factories of 'Clarks' shoes; these days the head office is still there, along with its very popular museum and, the nationally famous Clarks Village – home to over two hundred discounted retail outlets. Street has an excellent variety of restaurants with the choice of cuisines including Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and more.

*

There is a wide range of clubs and societies (cultural and sporting) and excellent state & independent schools in the area including primary schools, Millfield, Glastonbury, Wells Blue School, Wells Cathedral School. Bristol, Bath, Taunton and Yeovil are all within commuting distance. Further amenities include a doctors surgery, dentists, hairdressers, leisure facilities and a very popular theatre/cinema to name a few. Castle Cary is the nearest train station with fast links to London.

Bluestone Court is in a fantastic location just steps from the High Street.

Accommodation

The complex is accessed through a secure entranceway with a lift or stairs leading up to the second floor. The front door into the apartment leads into an entrance hall where there is an airing cupboard, cloaks cupboard and doors leading into the sitting room, bedroom and bathroom.

The sitting room is a lovely light filled room with space for both seating and dining areas. A new carpet has been fitted throughout the room and leads through back into the hall and into the bedroom and bathroom. There is a fireplace with inset electric fire, stone effect hearth and wooden mantel in the centre of the room which serves as a focal point for the seating area.

**

In a semi-open plan style the sitting room leads into the kitchen where there are an excellent range of fitted units with plenty of worktop space and tiled splash backs. There is an electric oven and hob with extractor above, integrated fridge and freezer plus a sink with drying rail overlooking the communal gardens.

The bedroom is easily a double in size and also enjoys a view over the gardens towards Glastonbury Tor. In addition there is a large built in wardrobe with mirrored doors.

The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, basin with storage beneath and w/c.

Communal Areas and Gardens

Within the complex is a large residents lounge which is ideal for socialising and is integral to the community feel of living here at Bluestone Court. Off the lounge is a kitchenette and other facilities include a laundry room and refuse room.
