Description
What its got
Walking into this stunning Georgian style home, you will see that the owners have carefully and tastefully renovated this home throughout. Being within 250m from Whitecliff Harbourside Park, this home is not to be missed.
There is generous sized lounge with a feature bay window benefitting glass French doors leading to the kitchen/dining room allowing plenty of light to flow through and create a cosy lounge if so wished. The kitchen/dining room is a beautiful space that has been meticulously thought out to include a peninsula island, Shaker style kitchen with all integrated appliances including wine cooler and space for a good size dining table. There is access to the rear garden via the glass door off the kitchen or by the double doors in the dining room. This really is the hub of the home and can be enjoyed by all if socialising or entertaining. On the ground floor you will also find a wc.
Moving upstairs you will find 3 good sized bedrooms, all benefitting fitted wardrobes. There is a large family bathroom which boasts both a bath and separate shower. Having been well thought out this bathroom is timeless and has been designed to suit a modern day family.
The Southerly facing rear garden is a real feature having recently been landscaped to create a patio area, lawn and further seating area. Extremely low maintenance, this garden is perfect to utilise as a family or simply to enjoy some quiet time in the sun. The garden is incredibly private as it does not back onto further houses/gardens.
There is an allocated garage in block and plenty of on road parking within the development.
What the owner says
‘We initially bought this home as just the two of us. It was our first house and we couldn’t be happier that we ended up in Wedgwood Drive. We had waited for so long for a house to come up for sale here (we lucked out because this one has a southerly facing garden). Now, we have added a dog and a little boy and it has been an amazing home for us. It’s is such a quiet place to live and because we don’t get passing cars and we have plenty of large open green spaces, it gives us so much peace of mind knowing it’s super safe for our little family. When we bought the property it was very unloved and needed extensive work, we happily took on the challenge and made it our own. We will miss the sunny garden, walking across to the park and our amazing neighbours.’
