What do you love about this property? Our home is a hidden treasure, tucked away from the road with a real sense of privacy. We love the light that floods into the kitchen in the afternoon and the balcony overlooking our garden that we relax on of a summer's evening. We completely reconfigured the interior of the property when we moved in and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The kitchen and lounge have the connection of an open-plan design but still retain the intimacy of two separate rooms, so our home manages to feel cosy, clean and modern.

Why are you moving? We love it here and will be very sad to leave, but we've decided we need a little more space as our family grows.

What do you like about the neighbourhood? There's a real feeling of community with our neighbours and we're one minute from the beautiful Mayow Park, which has a fantastic café. The restaurants and bars of Crystal Palace and Forest Hill are a walk away and Beckenham Place Park is a short drive. Our nearby high street boasts some local gems including Billing's Butchers and the award-winning Italian restaurant Trattoria Raffaele (our personal favourite). Sydenham Station is just a five-minute walk from us, offering an easy commute into the centre of town or out of London. We're hugely fond of the local area and will be moving as nearby as possible.
