The courtyard garden has also been an excellent family space, serving as an additional space for outdoor living and barbecues during the warmer months of the year. “This could be extended if the new owners wanted more outside space,” she explains. “There is currently off-road parking for two cars, but this could be reduced to one if someone was keen to make the garden larger.”

PERFECT BALANCE

The Sunningdale setting of the detached house has been ideal for those who have lived here over the years. The village offers a good balance of tranquil living with good connections to major roads and motorways, as well as the station with its trains running to Reading and London. “Commuting to London from Sunningdale is very easy,” she says. “It is also simple to reach airports and the M3, M4 and M25 from here.” There a good selection of pubs and restaurants in the area, and cinemas and theatres can be found at Camberley and Windsor. Those who enjoy golf can play at Sunningdale and Wentworth, and there are plenty of health clubs to choose from, including The Berystede, Royal Berkshire and Coworth Park.

A WALK IN THE PARK

Those living in the area also enjoy their proximity to Ascot Racecourse and Chobham Common. Other popular areas of green, open space include Windsor Great Park, The Savill Garden and Virginia Water. Stunning Windsor Great Park offers 5,000 acres of beautiful grounds to explore, including a deer park. “When you combine all this with the good schools in the area and the ease of reaching shops and supermarkets, you can see there are many advantages to living here,” she adds. “This property will make someone a great home for a variety of different reasons.”
