The spacious house has six bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Reception rooms are stylish and contemporary, designed for comfort and easy living.
I also converted a separate building, which now has a one bedroom annexe below, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, fitted kitchen and living area, he said. Above it I created a cinema room, office and entertainment area and I do have planning permission for an extension that would join this on to the main house and could accommodate a swimming pool.


Magnificent Venue
Set in two acres, the splendid property enjoys complete privacy. The owner said his home was the perfect place to entertain friends and host parties. We have so much room here, both inside and out. In the summer, you could hold fabulous garden parties, with marquees out in the lawn, bands and dancing. This would be an ideal setting for a wedding. Guests could even arrive by helicopter if they chose because of the helipad. The sumptuous reception space inside also lends itself to social occasions. Visitors could be greeted with aperitifs or cocktails in the entrance hall before moving on into the elegant drawing or dining room. The reception hall is a bright, spacious area, with a galleried landing. It is a room in itself, with space for people to mill about.

Time To Relax
The spectacular dining room seats up to 20 people and could be the scene of many superb dinner parties and banquets. The grand drawing room exudes comfort as well as style and is where guests would be able to relax after dinner and enjoy the rest of their evening.
One of the great pleasures of this house is that it has all these incredible spaces for entertaining and yet it is also very welcoming. When you are here on your own, or with the family, there are plenty of rooms to sit quietly in, which are cosy and inviting, he said.
I love spending time in the kitchen, for example. This is a stylish room with everything you need in it and yet it is also homely.

Leisure & Pleasure
Other favourite spaces are the cinema room, where the owner can enjoy watching films with his family or a small group of friends. The entertainment area is also fantastic if he wants to unwind in a more casual setting.
I have a mahogany bar in there that came from a real pub, he explained. With so many bedrooms and bathrooms, guests can easily be accommodated overnight. Proximity to beautiful countryside and the vibrant city of Norwich make this the ideal place to enjoy a weekend break.
It is also easy to access the scenic Norfolk Broads and picturesque coastline from here. The house has everything we have needed, he admitted. If someone wished to take it further, and add a swimming pool, it could have even more leisure opportunities. We have really enjoyed our time at Brooke Manor and hope the next owners have as much fun as we have had.



The Ground Floor Accommodation
From its driveway approach, the first glimpse of Brooke Manor can`t fail to impress, with attractive elevations that offer an early indication as to this home`s generous size. Brooke is a large village seven miles south of Norwich.
It has a pretty village green and pond at its heart.

Directions
Leave Norwich on the A146 and at the second set of lights turn right onto the B1332, towards Poringland and Brooke. Continue through the village of Poringland and once you approach Brooke turn right onto High Green. Follow the road along and take the last turning left onto High Green Garden before leaving the village. The gated entrance can be found at the end of the lane.
