A 10 minute drive from the property takes you to the beach and the very popular yet still traditional resort of Mojacar Playa with golden beaches, countless quality restaurants, bars, chiringuitos (beach bars) shops,supermarkets and a commercial centre with cafes, restaurants and boutique style shops. There is a regular bus service along the beach front and which takes you to neighbouring Garrucha, a famous fishing village, Vera Playa etc. There are water sports, riding stables and golf all close by. Almeria airport is just 45 minutes drive, Murcia an hour 15 and Alicante 2 hours.
