Port Isaac is a pretty Cornish coastal village enjoying a great situation along the rugged North Cornish coastline. Port Isaac is still a fishing port although tourism now plays a huge part of village life and the village is nationally and internationally renowned for its association with the television series, Doc Martin.
The village still has a friendly local community with its own doctor's surgery, primary school, various shops and restaurants including 2 of Nathan Outlaw's establishments where he holds 2 Michelin stars. Most of the older part of the village consists of picturesque 18th and 19th century cottages with narrow alleys and streets winding down to the steep hillside towards the beautiful harbour at the bottom. At low tide is a sandy beach with an abundance of rock pools.
