SOME OF THE MANY REVIEWS FROM AIRBNB -

"Laura's cottage was delightful, homely and welcoming! I took my partner to Rye/WInchelsea for her birthday, and we wanted a quaint little cottage, and this cottage hit the spot perfectly and beyond. Laura met us immediately on arrival and showed us around the cottage and how things work, including a complimentary basket of logs for the woodburner during our stay! The Location was fantastic, just a short drive to both Rye, and Hastings Country Park and round the corner from Winchelsea Beach. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Beautifully decorated, modern and a really homely feel. Within the cottage was a welcome book, with information about the cottage and things to do in the local area. Thank you Laura for being a great host and thank you for the added cake and birthday card you left in the cottage for us! We really enjoyed ourselves!"

"Laura's cottage is truly wonderful. Tastefully decorated, with a beautiful garden, fire place, very clean and private, and close to the sea. Everything is well thought through (from kitchen utensils to towels), and Laura is a great host. Highly recommendable - the cottage is a gem!"

"This is such a lovely cottage! Cosy, spotlessly clean and with everything you need plus a fantastic garden. We've had a fantastic few days here with our 18 month old son (there are a couple of steps in the cottage but you can close the door to one of them and the others provided a fun activity :)) The cottage is in a great location with a supermarket and great pub (with fab deli attached) 5 minutes walk away. It's an easy drive into Rye and you can do a lovely walk to the nearby Nature Reserve from the cottage itself. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are definitely thinking about a return visit!"

Outside there is a very private and secluded garden with lawn, well stocked flower borders, paved decking area, timber shed and separate vegetable garden with access into the garage.

The cottage has many quirky and original features including - brass door fittings on period doors, some are glazed. Wrought iron window furniture and feature beams and shelving. This lovely home is not just a square box and presents a cosy seaside retreat.

There is gas central heating, with a combination boiler, main drainage and economy 7 electricity. The annual bills for the cottage are very competitive. The house is easy to heat and beautifully warm.

Winchelsea Beach has super fast broadband. The house also has the facility for sky.

The property measures approximately 715.6 sqft.

The property is located approximately 0.7 miles from St Thomas' Church of England Aided Primary School, approximately 2.5 miles from Rye College and approximately 1.4 miles from Winchelsea station.
