Wyre Country Park is situated in a gorgeous elevated position on the River Wyre in Staynall, part of Hambleton and Stalmine-with Staynall which is located on the Fylde Coast. The village of Hambleton lies approximately 3 miles away from the historic market town of Poulton le Fylde, a charming place full of cobbled streets, unusual shops and ancient sights. Poulton has everything to suit all tastes and budgets. Tour the village and it's scenic surrounds on the three mile long historic trail, which sets off from The River Wyre Hotel, a 19th century pub close to Skippool Creek, where smuggling was once rife. From the M55, junction 3 take the exit onto the A585 signposted Fleetwood. At the traffic signals bear left onto the A585 Garstang New Road. Turn right onto the A588 Shard Lane and after approx 1.8 miles turn left onto Staynall Lane. Proceed to the end of the road and turn left onto Wardleys Lane.
