DESCRIPTION This property dates from circa 1754, with 19th and 20th Century extensions. Originally built as a substantial private residence of brick on a raised stone plinth with stone quoins and a half hipped stone tiled roof.
The property was used between 1970 and 2011 as a Preparatory School.

PLANNING The property currently has planning consent for educational use and has been previously used as a nursing home and originally a private house.
Although no formal planning applications have been made with regard to this property the local planning department have indicated that any planning application to develop the grounds or the existing structure would need to be sympathetic and in-keeping with the historic building and would be linked to its restoration and its preservation.
TENURE With Freehold and will be sold with vacant possession. The wool store building and Pine Hall are currently used on an informal licence basis by a dance school but vacant possession can be given on short notice.
