Full description

Little is known of the history of this charming semi detached cottage which is situated in a quiet lane side location of Kingston. We believe that the cottage dates back to the late 1800's and may have at one time formed part of a barn. Over the course of time, the property has evolved into a delightful residential dwelling with good ceiling heights and well proportioned rooms, yet retaining a lovely cosy atmosphere and character features, such as exposed beams, floorboards and Inglenook fireplace with Bressumer beam. During the eleven years of ownership, the current seller has maintained the cottage to a high standard having replaced all fencing, the chimney and front and rear doors, in addition to some electrical work and re-pointing as well as the relaying of all of the tiled roofing. The property also benefits from UPVC double glazing throughout, some windows with an attractive Georgian bar and oil fired central heating via radiators. This delightful home really must be viewed to truly appreciate the ambience of the cottage and its easy to use layout.
