Owners Comments - “We were initially attracted by the tranquil, peaceful location and the views. On a clear day, we can see for miles over open countryside and we often watch the weather coming in. If we’re lucky, we are treated to the most beautiful rainbows and fantastic sunsets over the Breidens. It’s very quiet with no near neighbours but Shrewsbury is only 20 minutes away and has all the amenities we require."

“The garden is split between a formal landscaped area immediately in front of the house, plus a large lawn to the east. We like to sit under the wisteria in the summer and enjoy the garden views. The dogs can safely run and explore as it’s fully fenced and escape-proof. We have apple, pear, plum and damson trees and my wife makes homemade gin from the harvest. This section of garden also includes the open air heated swimming pool and we just love the space which is easy to manage, especially with a ride-on mower! We have hosted an 80th birthday party in the garden with a large, family gatherings in the summer.”

“We are retiring and the time has come to downsize and we’ll miss everything about living here, especially the peace, tranquility and space.”
